Steward

The Steward is responsible for providing a professional and welcoming dining experience for all guests. This role involves managing the "guest journey"—from initial greeting and order taking to table service and final billing—while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and table etiquette.

Key Responsibilities

• Greeting & Seating: Welcome guests warmly at the entrance, confirm reservations, and escort them to their tables.
• Menu Assistance: Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer informed recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Order Taking: Accurately record food and beverage orders and promptly enter them into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Service Excellence: Serve food and drinks according to standard service sequences (e.g., serving from the right, clearing from the left).
• Mise en Place: Set up tables with fresh linens, polished cutlery, glassware, and relevant condiments before service begins.
• Clearance: Promptly clear empty plates and glasses during the meal to keep the dining area tidy.
