Store Keeper

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate stock records for all raw materials, packaging, and consumables
• Track daily inward and outward movement of inventory
• Ensure physical stock matches system records (Tally / sheets)
• Maintain FIFO (First-In-First-Out) across all perishable items

Goods Receiving

• Check all incoming materials against purchase orders and invoices
• Verify quantity, quality, and condition of goods
• Flag discrepancies immediately (shortage, damage, wrong items)
• Update inward entries into system

Stock IssuanceIssue materials to kitchen/operations based on approved requisitions

• Record all outward movement accurately
• Prevent unauthorized or unrecorded stock usage

Storage & Organization

• Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, hygiene, labeling)
• Organize stock for easy access and visibility
• Clearly label all items with date of receipt and expiry

Stock Audits

• Conduct checks for critical items
• Perform full stock counts
• Report variance between physical and system stock
• Identify wastage, pilferage, or slow-moving items

Coordination

• Work closely with kitchen team for stock requirements
• Coordinate with accounts for invoice tracking and entries
• Inform management about low stock levels in advance
