Job Description
The Store Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the organic retail store, ensuring high customer satisfaction, driving sales, maintaining inventory, and leading the store team efficiently. The role demands strong leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for organic and sustainable products.
- Key ResponsibilitiesStore OperationsOversee daily store operations including opening/closing, billing, and merchandising
- Ensure store cleanliness, product display, and adherence to brand standards
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment
- Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene, and safety standards
- Sales & Revenue ManagementDrive store sales targets and achieve monthly revenue goals
- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to improve performance
- Upsell and promote organic products to customers
- Handle customer queries and complaints effectively
- Inventory ManagementEnsure accurate stock management and minimize shrinkage
- Conduct regular stock audits and maintain inventory records
- Coordinate with supply chain/vendors for timely stock availability
- Team ManagementSupervise, train, and motivate store staff
- Schedule shifts and manage attendance
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Customer ExperienceDeliver excellent customer service and ensure repeat business
- Maintain strong product knowledge, especially organic and health products
- Build customer relationships and loyalty
- Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in retail store management (FMCG / supermarket / organic retail preferred)
- Strong leadership and team handling skills
- Good understanding of inventory management and POS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for organic, healthy, and sustainable living products
