Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Store Manager to lead daily retail operations at The Organic World. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent store performance, uphold brand values around organic and sustainable living, and deliver a superior customer experience while driving sales and team productivity.
- Key ResponsibilitiesStore OperationsOversee end-to-end store operations including opening/closing, merchandising, and inventory control
- Ensure store hygiene, visual merchandising, and adherence to organic product guidelines
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health, and safety standards
- Sales & Business PerformanceDrive store sales to achieve weekly, monthly, and annual targets
- Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve performance
- Monitor shrinkage, wastage (especially perishables), and optimize stock levels
- Inventory & Supply ChainManage stock ordering, replenishment, and supplier coordination
- Ensure freshness and quality of organic products
- Reduce stock loss through proper handling and tracking
- Team ManagementLead, train, and supervise store staff
- Conduct performance reviews and mentor team members
- Ensure proper staff scheduling and manpower utilization
- Customer ExperienceDeliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Educate customers about organic products and promote a healthy lifestyle
- Build customer loyalty and ensure repeat business
- Compliance & ReportingMaintain daily sales, inventory, and financial reports
- Ensure all statutory and company compliance requirements are met
- Coordinate with regional managers for audits and improvements
- Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, preferably in FMCG, organic, or supermarket chains
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of inventory management and retail KPIs
- Excellent communication and customer handling skills
