Role Description

As a UI/UX Designer Intern at Digikit, you will support the design team in creating intuitive and visually engaging user interfaces for web and mobile experiences. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, where you will work closely with designers, developers, and strategists to translate business and user needs into clear interaction flows, wireframes, and mockups. Your daily tasks will include assisting in user research and usability reviews, preparing design assets, refining visual layouts, and building interactive prototypes for internal and client presentations. You will collaborate on front-end handoff documentation, ensuring that design specifications are clear and implementable. The role offers mentorship, exposure to real client projects, and opportunities to contribute ideas that improve user experience and brand impact.

Qualifications

• Strong user experience design skills, including understanding of user flows, information architecture, and User Experience Design (UED).
• Ability to create clear mockups and visual design layouts that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Experience or coursework in building interactive prototypes and refining them based on feedback.
• Basic knowledge of front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, responsive design) to facilitate effective collaboration with developers.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
