Position: Video Editor – Dog Boarding & Training Center

Location: Bangalore

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Experience: 1+ year preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor to join our dog boarding, training, and grooming center.

You will be responsible for turning our daily dog training, boarding, grooming, and educational content into engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.

- Create engaging videos from raw footage of dogs, training sessions, grooming, and boarding.

- Add captions, subtitles, music, sound effects, transitions, and hooks.

- Understand short-form content and create videos designed for engagement, retention, and shares.

- Maintain consistency in our brand style and storytelling.

- Identify the best moments from long footage and turn them into short, engaging content.

- Work closely with the dog trainer/behaviorist to understand the story and message behind each video.

- Keep up with current Instagram and YouTube trends.

- Deliver videos within agreed timelines.

Requirements

- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software.

- Good understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

- Strong sense of timing, storytelling, music, and visual composition.

- Ability to create attention-grabbing hooks in the first few seconds.

- Basic understanding of social media trends and algorithms.

- Creativity and attention to detail.

- Passion for dogs and willingness to work around them is a big advantage.
