Job Description: Warehouse Helper (Associate)

Role Summary

A Warehouse Helper supports daily operations including receiving goods, storing inventory

on pallets/fixtures, picking orders, and preparing dispatches to franchise outlets. The role

requires physical work, attention to detail, and adherence to hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

 Goods Receiving

o Unload incoming food and packaging materials from vendors

o Check quantity and basic condition against delivery challans/Invoice.

o Report damaged or missing items

 Storage & Handling

o Arrange stock on pallets, racks, and fixtures as per guidelines

o Follow FIFO/FEFO (important for food items)

o Maintain proper labeling and segregation (food vs packaging)

 Order Picking & Dispatch

o Pick items based on daily outlet orders

o Assist in packing and staging dispatch shipments

o Ensure correct quantity and items before dispatch

 Warehouse Maintenance

o Keep warehouse clean and organized

o Follow hygiene and safety standards (especially for food storage)

o Dispose of waste and damaged goods properly

 Inventory Support

o Assist in stock counts and audits

o Inform supervisor about low stock or discrepancies

Requirements

 Basic reading and counting skills

 Physically fit (lifting, moving goods)

 Prior warehouse experience is a plus (not mandatory)

 Willingness to work in shifts if required
