Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving problems efficiently to maintain seamless system operations. The position demands collaboration with multiple teams to ensure that business applications perform optimally, supporting the overall organizational objectives and minimizing downtime.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Document troubleshooting processes and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Netapp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
- Strong understanding of storage architecture and data management principles.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining storage infrastructure to ensure high availability.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to storage systems.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery processes within storage environments.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and capacity planning for storage networks.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Netapp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
