Assistant Manager - Maintenance

• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
• Responding to breakdown
• Diagnosing faults
• Repairing equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
• Creating maintenance procedures
• Managing stocks of supplies and equipment
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance · Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Maintenance activities
• Ensure that EHSMS requirements are established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 guidelines
• Define/communicate roles, responsibilities, and authorities for key EHSMS positions
• Report on the performance of the EHSMS to the Plant Manager / EHS Coordinator
• Authorize the EHSMS Manual and other relevant EHSMS documentation
• Provide direction for setting objectives and targets
• Provide support to close-out preventive measures
• Identify and have access to legal and other requirements
• Identify and maintain information related to environmental aspects, including significance determination
• Identify and maintain hazard and risk identification and risk control procedures and registers
• Develop proposed objectives and targets
• Provide direction for the development and implementation of EHS programs
• Oversee the tracking of environmental, health & safety performance and regulatory compliance
• Support EHSMS training and awareness
• Maintain the EHSMS Manual and other EHSMS documentation
• Maintain EHSMS records management and document control
• Assist in maintaining emergency preparedness and response procedures/plan(s)
• Prepare information for the EHSMS Management Review
