Key Responsibilities

  • Support risk data and analytics initiatives by understanding business (risk domain) and technical requirements.

  • Analyze and integrate data from multiple risk-related source systems across the enterprise.

  • Query, analyze, and present data using SQL and Python to support analytics initiatives and ad‑hoc stakeholder requests.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and ad‑hoc reports using self‑service BI tools such as Power BI.

  • Identify, track, and support resolution of data quality, reporting, and delivery issues.

  • Coordinate and support stakeholder meetings; help document requirements, discussions, decisions, and action items.

  • Identify opportunities to improve data flows, data quality, and reporting processes to enhance accuracy and usability.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in special projects as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

  • 24 months as Senior Analyst

  • 12 months as Technical Coordinator

  • 4–6 years of experience as a Business Intelligence / Data Analytics professional within Banking or Financial Services.

  • Functional knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management concepts including Operational Risk, Compliance, Regulatory Change, Technology & Cyber Risk, and programs such as RCSA, BC/DR, Issues Management, and Integrated Risk Management.

  • Working knowledge of risk system(s) of record such as Fusion, ServiceNow IRM, Teammate, or similar platforms (preferred).

  • Strong expertise in SQL and Python for data analysis and reporting.

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Power BI or similar visualization tools (required).

  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, data warehousing, data lakes, and data mesh.

  • Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, UNIX, shell scripting, or similar platforms is a plus.

  • Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytics and BI solutions.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent proven experience.

  • Degree from a Tier 1 institution preferred.
