Associate Consultant, Data Analytics

Operational Responsibilities:

• Perform extensive desk research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, company or opportunity
• Extract data from IQVIA data sources and conduct quantitative analysis
• Analyze and synthesize research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations for the client
  • Integrate qualitative and quantitative data
  • Use triangulation technique
• Create storyboards and produce high quality client-ready presentations*
• Undertake market analysis to include details on the market characteristics (market access: access/funding/procurement pathway, formulary / reimbursement/ tendering status, payer value drivers for access for new drugs to support formulary inclusion, market trends, market attractiveness; competitor characteristics: product characteristics, competitor marketing strategies, pricing analysis)
• Work with minimal supervision or independently on defined tasks with 100% ownership on outcomes and timelines*
• Lead module(s) of the project and provide support to the overall project lead*
• Contribute to internal brainstorming sessions to develop project methodology and recommendations*
• Willingness to work as a dedicated FTE for pricing and market access projects

Other Responsibilities:

• Support business development (proposal creation etc.), knowledge management, quality and process improvement and other internal initiatives
• Proactively comply with the training norms and stay up to date with the latest market trends
• Eager to learn and able to deliver quality reports within the stipulated timelines

• Show active involvement on new concepts/products/innovations from the team

Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge Required:

• Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Life Sciences from a premier institute
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Any experience (up to a maximum of 4 years) in Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology/ Consulting/ Professional Services Outsourcing would be an added advantage

• Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and draw meaningful insights
• Highly articulate with excellent presentation skills (especially PowerPoint)
• Passionate about desk research and analysis and its practical application in the corporate environment
• Should be able to conceptualize new ideas for research and give shape to them
• Understanding of global healthcare environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High consciousness towards attention to detail; drive and commitment towards delivering high quality work
• Self-motivated, with strong work ethics; proactive in identifying issues and opportunities and delivering insightful solutions
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Ability to complete task accurately, reducing the intervention from seniors
• Strong team player and proactive in prioritizing and organizing the tasks to meet deadlines, while working on multiple projects
• Key skill set required include pricing and market access, market assessment, competitive analysis and industry analysis
• Creative outlook and ability to work on multiple approaches to address a problem
• Capability to execute a part or complete project independently
