Associate Consultant Fund

We are recruiting for an Associate Consultant in the Accounting Advisory Services team for fund accounting. Working as an Associate Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include:

‒To work on Private Equity / Hedge Fund Operations such as Fund / Financial Accounting – Book-keeping, Journal Posting, Preparation of Financial Statements and financial reporting.

‒Handling areas such as ‘Management Fee’, ‘Carried Interest’ and other fund related expense for calculation & posting,

‒Capital Calls- Preparation of Capital Call memos,

‒Follow up with LPs for funding Distribution - Preparation of distribution waterfall calculation, LP Memo Preparation,

‒Reconciliation - Cash reconciliation, cash tracking, posting entries, cash reporting and tracking of Capital transactions.

‒Valuation - Valuation of Portfolio Investments

‒Financial Statements preparation of Private Equity / Hedge Fund Operations

‒Reasonable understanding of Private Equity / Hedge Funds processes such as Accounting, Investor Reporting, Capital Calls, Distribution, Financial Statements etc.  

‒To strive to create a healthy and professional work environment in the team.

‒Display interpersonal skills in handling the day-to-day operations on the floor.

‒To meet TAT and deliver error free services.

‒Suggest and work on process improvements Idea.

‒General understanding of Capital Markets.

‒General understanding of Banking.

‒General understanding of Private Equity / Hedge Fund.

Hands on experience of Private Equity / Hedge Funds systems

‒To work on Private Equity / Hedge Fund Operations such as Fund / Financial Accounting – Book-keeping, Journal Posting, Preparation of Financial Statements and financial reporting.

Educational qualifications

‒Any Graduate or Post-Graduate

Work experience

‒Experience: 2+years of relevant experience in Private equity/ Hedge funds operations

‒Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university
