Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced SAP Lead who brings a balanced expertise in building, creating, and running SAP-managed services alongside strong exposure to the end-to-end SAP implementation lifecycle. The ideal candidate will lead delivery teams, ensure operational excellence, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor for clients across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of SAP managed services, including incident, problem, change, and service request management.
Define and implement service delivery models (onshore/offshore/hybrid) and SLAs.
Monitor and report on service performance, continuously optimizing support operations and cost-efficiency.
Drive process improvements, automation, and knowledge management within the SAP landscape.
Manage vendor coordination, governance, and stakeholder communication.
Lead SAP implementation projects including blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, training, and go-live support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Ensure alignment with SAP best practices, industry standards, and compliance needs.
Manage cross-functional teams and ensure timely and quality delivery of project milestones.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in service delivery tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
Ability to drive operational KPIs and manage SLA adherence. Effective communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Certifications:
SAP Certified (in at least one module or S/4HANA)
ITIL Foundation or higher
PMP/Prince2 (nice to have)
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on SAP experience across modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, Basis, PI/PO, Solution Manager, etc.)
Proven experience in both SAP implementation lifecycle and managed services delivery.
Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM frameworks.
Exposure to global delivery models and working with diverse clients/teams.
Experience in leading SAP transformation or upgrade initiatives is a plus.
