Associate Healthcare Research and Data Analyst – Medtech Insights

We are looking for an Associate Healthcare Research and Data Analyst to join our Medtech Insights team in Bangalore. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to syndicated market research reports and custom projects in the medical device space. The team has ~48–50 members and reports to the Director, Medtech Insights. We have strong expertise in market research and forecasting, and we encourage applicants with skills in data research, analysis, and content development.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• B.Tech / Master's (MS in Life Sciences or MBA) / Pharm D / PhD
• Freshers or 6 months of relevant experience
• Subject-matter familiarity in at least one medical device therapy area or relevant industry exposure
• Knowledge of market research methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, structured data organization)
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, presentation, and written communication skills
• Highly self‑motivated; able to work independently and collaboratively to produce high‑quality deliverables
• Mature communicator capable of interacting with high‑profile clients
• Strong multitasking ability and comfort working under tight deadlines
• Business acumen to support sales activities, process improvements, and stakeholder relationships

What will you be doing in this role?

• Serve as the subject matter expert and consultant for cardiovascular medical device markets
• Interview industry participants and medical professionals for primary insights
• Use Clarivate’s proprietary research repositories to develop client‑ready insights
• Analyze financial, regulatory, and government documents to identify data supporting market analysis
• Lead ad‑hoc projects and initiatives, delivering solutions for internal teams and clients
• Manage client engagements while supporting sales in business development activities
• Mentor new and junior team members
• Model and forecast healthcare and medical device markets, including integrating diverse data points into cohesive market models, translating qualitative insights into quantitative frameworks, and developing hypotheses on market dynamics
• Analyze large datasets using Excel and database tools
• Forecast markets using macroeconomic and micro‑level drivers
• Identify data trends and outliers using time‑series tables and visualizations
• Write and prepare comprehensive research reports based on insights and forecast analyses

About the Team

The Medtech Insights team is an integral part of the broader Medtech function’s data‑driven culture and frequently contributes its subject‑matter expertise across the organization.

Hours of Work

40 hours per week, 12:00 PM – 09:00 PM (IST). Work mode: Hybrid (Monday-Friday)

Location: Bangalore

This is a permanent role.
