Asst Product Sales Manager - Branch Banking - POS (Point of Sale)
The Assistant Product Sales Manager will play a crucial role in our Branch Banking - POS department, working closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategies to enhance sales performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the bank's growth and success, with a focus on building strong client relationships and driving sales in the POS domain.- Manage and develop relationships with POS clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Identify and target potential POS clients, conducting market research and analysis to understand client needs.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, working collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to the management team.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities, offering recommendations to enhance our POS offerings.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Provide training and support to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Handle client queries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Conduct periodic reviews of POS sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and the ability to understand client requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and sales events as required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- A self-motivated and results-driven attitude, with a passion for sales and client engagement.
