Could you be the full-time Railway Dynamics Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your railway dynamics expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in shaping the future of railway dynamics by contributing to the development of advanced solutions for tenders, projects, and R&D initiatives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including engineering, project management, and testing teams), provide technical support to project teams, and perform advanced simulations and analyses to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
You’ll specifically take care of performing Multi-Body System (MBS) calculations using tools like SIMPACK and VAMPIRE, as well as analyzing and interpreting test results, but also supporting the development and deployment of new processes and methodologies.
We’ll look to you for:
Applying Railway Dynamics instructions and guidelines to project tasks
Providing technical support to project teams
Performing technical specification analyses and preparing clause-by-clause evaluations
Conducting GAP analyses for railway dynamics between proposed solutions and reference standards
Supporting the creation of Railway Dynamics Management Plans and Technical Requirement Specifications
Identifying and addressing missing data or inputs
Conducting risk analyses for project and tender assumptions
Preparing calculation matrices and supporting certification and acceptance phases
Performing railway dynamics simulations
Providing support for ongoing projects and addressing critical issues
Collaborating with Chief Engineers and Core Competence Network leaders to improve methodologies and guidelines
Contributing to the development and deployment of new processes
Assisting in updating and developing métier instructions
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
More than 5 years of experience in a Railway Dynamics department or R&D in the railway dynamics domain
Strong knowledge of Multi-Body System tools (such as SIMPACK, VAMPIRE, or other)

Comprehensive understanding of mechanical vibrations, track-vehicle systems, and their impact on dynamic behavior
Experience in modeling and controlling active systems in Matlab/Simulink
Knowledge of signal conditioning algorithms in Matlab/Simulink
Familiarity with mechanical design and calculation, particularly related to bogie mechanical and suspension components
Understanding of Railway Dynamics International Standards
Strong communication skills, proactivity, and teamwork abilities
English proficiency (advanced level in reading, writing, and speaking)
French proficiency (advanced level in reading and conversational skills) is preferred
