Power Platform Developer (Power Apps)

We are looking for a Power Platform Developer (Power Apps) to design, develop, and maintain custom applications that streamline internal business processes and replace legacy or manual workflows. The role focuses on delivering scalable, user‑friendly solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven), with exposure to Power Automate cloud flows as a value‑added skill.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions while supporting Agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

Application Design & Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Canvas and Model‑Driven Power Apps to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Build scalable and reusable Power Apps components aligned with enterprise standards.
• Integrate Power Apps with data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, Excel, and other enterprise systems.

Process Automation & Modernization

• Migrate manual, spreadsheet‑based, or legacy processes into modern Power Apps solutions.
• Leverage Power Automate cloud flows (where applicable) to automate workflows, approvals, notifications, and system integrations.
• Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and maintainable.

Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and desired outcomes.
• Translate functional requirements into technical designs and working applications.
• Participate in workshops, requirement‑gathering sessions, and solution demos.

Support, Training & Continuous Improvement

• Provide technical support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for deployed applications.
• Develop end‑user documentation and provide training as required.
• Continuously improve solutions based on feedback, performance, and evolving business needs.

Delivery & Governance

• Manage assigned work items, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Follow Power Platform best practices, governance standards, and SDLC guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience developing Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model‑Driven).
• Strong understanding of Power Apps formulas, controls, data handling, and user experience design.
• Experience working with data sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint lists, Excel, or SQL.
• Proven ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience building Power Automate cloud flows (approvals, notifications, integrations).
• Exposure to Power Platform ALM, environments, and solution packaging.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience supporting or enhancing applications post go‑live.
• Knowledge of Power Platform security roles and access controls.
