Role Purpose

The Unilever Cyber Security team continues to evolve through its transformation into a product-based operating model, aligned with the NIST Framework and supported by rigorous service management, robust governance, and clear performance metrics.

Within this context, the Business Analyst – Cyber Security will play a pivotal role in driving effective communication, knowledge management, and strategic reporting across the function. Reporting into the Cyber Service Management and Strategic Reporting Senior Manager, you will act as a trusted partner and enabler for the organisation. You will coordinate global Townhalls and communications, support senior forums and leadership connects, and develop high-quality strategic papers and presentations that shape decision-making. You will also manage documentation and knowledge assets, ensuring the Cyber community can access accurate, relevant, and timely information.

In addition, you will provide vital support in analysing and communicating performance metrics, strengthening transparency, and enabling the effective operation of the global Cyber Security organisation. This role is ideal for a highly organised and communicative professional who thrives in bringing clarity, structure, and impact to complex environments. You do not need to be a cyber security expert — but you must be curious, ready to learn, and eager to grow into a future leader in cyber strategy and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Global Townhalls and Communications

  • Plan and deliver Cyber global Townhall meetings, including agenda preparation. presentation design, and speaker coordination.

  • Draft and edit clear, engaging communications that articulate strategy, priorities, and achievements across the Cyber organisation. • Ensure consistent tone, alignment with strategic messaging, and accessibility for a diverse global audience

Stakeholder Engagement and Global Connects

  • Coordinate senior meetings and global connect sessions, covering scheduling, logistics, briefing materials, and minute taking.

  • Serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution and effective escalation of queries.

  • Build trusted relationships across Cyber products and functions, enabling collaboration, alignment, and knowledge sharing.

Strategic Papers and Executive Presentations

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop impactful strategic papers and professional-grade PowerPoint decks.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, insight-driven narratives and visuals tailored for executive stakeholders.

  • Champion continuous improvement in presentation quality, templates, and storytelling approaches. 4.

  • Knowledge and Document Management

  • Maintain and improve a well-structured repository of documents, policies, templates, and reference materials (via SharePoint, Teams, or equivalent).

  • Define and embed best practices for document control, version management, and accessibility.

  • Regularly review and refresh content to ensure accuracy, currency, and alignment with the product operating model.

Strategic Reporting and Performance Insights

  • Support the Cyber Service Management and Strategic Reporting team in collating, analysing, and visualising key performance metrics.

  • Develop concise dashboards, reports, and insight summaries to inform business reviews, governance forums, and leadership communications.

  • Contribute to the optimisation of reporting processes, ensuring transparency and decision-readiness of information.

Skills and Experience Required Essential

  • Experience in business analysis, project coordination, communications, or a similar role within a large, complex organisation.

  • Proven ability to design compelling presentations, reports, and written communications for diverse audiences. • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultural and organisational boundaries.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams).

  • Highly organised self-starter with excellent attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities.

  • Desirable

  • Exposure to cyber security, technology, or IT governance functions.

  • Familiarity with agile, product-based, or digital operating models.

  • Experience supporting strategy, transformation, or change initiatives.

  • Basic knowledge of reporting and data visualisation tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI) and ability to interpret performance metrics
