Job Description

The Technician will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV systems, Video Door Phones (VDP), wireless home automation systems, networking infrastructure, and associated low-voltage systems. The role requires a hands-on individual who can deliver high-quality installations while maintaining safety, workmanship, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and commission CCTV surveillance systems.
  • Install and configure Video Door Phone (VDP) systems.
  • Install and commission wireless home automation devices, including smart switches, sensors, gateways, and controllers.
  • Perform CAT6/CAT6A cable laying, termination, testing, labeling, and network rack dressing.
  • Install networking equipment such as routers, switches, access points, and related accessories.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and rectification.
  • Read and execute work based on wiring diagrams, floor plans, and installation drawings.
  • Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and project timelines.
  • Maintain daily installation reports, photographs, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and other site personnel.
  • Ensure proper handling and maintenance of company tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and site regulations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in CCTV, networking, home automation, ELV, or security system installations.
  • Basic understanding of IP networking and structured cabling.
  • Ability to use installation and testing tools independently.
  • Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.
