  Are you a Performance & Scalability enthusiast with a passion for delivering highly resilient cloud applications/services? We are looking for Cloud Developer with experience/interest in Performance & Scalability.  SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is the base for all innovations at SAP. With SAP BTP’s rapid expansion, it is super important and challenging to ensure that all our services scalable and performant.  We are looking for a developer who will work in supporting performance and scalability tests & analysis across all BTP runtimes and applications. .   What you’ll do

• Design and deliver performance and scalability tests for cloud based applications and runtimes
• Write efficient, maintainable code in Python or Golang to build custom tools, scripts, and extensions for performance engineering workflows. 
• Do a detailed RCA and identify the bottle neck for any performance issue – at the code level wherever possible
• Identify different ways to simplify the over performance test process and automate them 
• Work closely with other internal teams, such as product management, and end-users to ensure product success.
• Customer first attitude – ready to work on mitigating any customer/stakeholder issues 
• Work with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable testing.

  What you bring

• 3 – 7 years of prior experience 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent 
• Strong scripting/coding knowledge (any language – preferably python/golang)
• Handson experience in performance and scalability tests. Good knowledge in any of the load generating tools 
• Working knowledge on Cloud based Applications
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Very good logical mindset to detailed root cause analysis
• Open to learn, adapt and contribute to Open Source technologies (Cloud Native)
