Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops and implements infrastructure and platform environments, often creating proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with organizational goals is also a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and performance optimization.
- Ability to design and validate architecture through proof of concept implementations.
- Familiarity with integration of cloud and on-premises systems.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
