JOB POSITION

Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer II to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Understand and analyze software requirements, specifications, and design documents.

• Key duties include requirement analysis, configuration management (CM), documentation, testing, and troubleshooting system issues, requiring strong analytical and technical skills. 

• Work on configuration development activity

• Analyze requirements, workflows, and system performance to identify issues and improvement opportunities.

• Work with engineering, support, business partners, and other teams to define needs and implement solutions.

• Ability to analyze complex requirements, troubleshoot problems, and translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Drive the team toward continuous improvement and agile execution

• Strong agile/scrum development experience, experience interpreting user stories and applying the appropriate technical solutions to deliver operational results

• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams
  

QUALIFICATION

Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience as a business analyst and should have strong knowledge in Provider area, should be able to understand the mappings, define the requirements and clarify the functional and technical impediments

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Overall IT experience of 4+ years

• 3+ years experience in Configurations, Analytical skills, logical skills

• Understand system integration, Rest API, Database Connectivity

• Familiarity with Snowflake

• Hands-on experience working on Jira, Confluence and Postman

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Ability to work in fast paced environment

• Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders

• Passion about sharing knowledge and best practice

• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations

• Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives.

• Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required.
