The Role

As a Cloud Transformation Advisor, you will support KPMG with the delivery of immediate value and impact, to customers undergoing a transform of their IT environment, through well-organised and executed cloud strategies. By working closely with C-level stakeholders you will, as a trusted cloud technologist, be directly responsible for outlining the overall vision by using the right solutions to connect business and cloud strategies based on customer needs. Additionally, Advisors will act as a source of support for customers, throughout the cloud transformation journey, building a lasting relationship and helping to ensure the implementation of key organisational change. You will have to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and being able to come up with creative solutions. You should be passionate for technology and eager to learn.

You are expected to have experience or develop your skills within the following areas:

• Cloud discovery & maturity/ readiness assessment
• Cloud migration & application modernization strategy (6R & TIME analysis)
• Cloud architecture and landing zone design
• DevSecOps maturity assessment & strategy (Principles, processes, best practices and tools)
• Cloud costing, TCO analysis, business case development and cost optimization
• Data architecture (Data collection, migration & management)
• Cloud Operating Model & Governance framework
• Cloud Suitability Analysis 
• Managing large scale cloud migration initiatives (Good to have)
• Familiarity with Datacenter technologies (Good to have)
• Building High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) for cloud migrations (Good to have)

Key Responsibilities

• Be part of the initiatives at CIO Advisory level and innovate on our current thinking to develop new approaches to change how organizations transform themselves with respect to Cloud and adopt emerging trends.
• Ability to drive engagements in the assessment for organizations - Cloud strategy & maturity, DevSecOps strategy & maturity and Cloud operating model. 
• Providing Cloud performance reviews, TCO analysis, benchmarking against Cloud best practices. Carrying out Cloud transformations, aligning business with Cloud strategy & planning by building effective Governance frameworks.
• Focus on providing Cloud Transformation advisory, design and drive organizational change by formulating detailed use cases for how an organization can benefits its business by using Cloud.
• Ability to assist in development of and demonstrate proficiency in all the deliverables including secondary research, analysis, detailed baselining, report writing, and preparing executive level presentations.
• Contribute to building compelling to-be cloud architectures taking into account client’s as-is state, future business requirements and industry best practices for architecture design
• Support design changes to clients’ cloud operating models and act as an IT agility change agent
• Design and build cloud/technology roadmaps, implementation strategies, transformation plan and high-level architecture for the customer organization with the aid of delivery managers, sales colleagues and senior customer stakeholders.
• Support creation of compliance and security approach for cloud.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clients’ risk management and/or control processes, policies and procedures.

The person

• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to develop excellent client relationships
• Prior consulting experience in advising client stakeholders at CxO level 
• Significant experience in consulting and presenting complex solutions to business executives
• Track record in advisory of complex large-scale architectural solutions on cloud
• Good understanding of infrastructure, network, database, security architecture, IAM for cloud-based solutions
• Understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud)
• Knowledge of cloud operate models including DevSecOps approaches and working practices
• Embraces a growth mindset for business development, with an ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Certification from at least one of the 3 major hyperscalers (Azure/ AWS/ GCP)
• MBA (from Tier -1 Institute) with outstanding academic credentials (preferably a technical undergrad degree e.g. Computer Science, Engineering).
• Relevant work experience of 4-6 years.
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills capable of discussing complex ideas with various groups, ranging from a board room to business unit leads.
• Good team player with strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
