Purpose

  • The credit management lead acts as a business partner for maintaining customer relationship and supporting the financial stability of the organization by overseeing the health of credit portfolio. You are to monitor outstanding credit, aging of accounts, minimize financial exposure from bad debts and reporting on customer payment trends. You are to work with leadership to develop risk management strategies and policies for SBM's contract portfolio and completing activity, with accuracy and ontime deliverables. You ensure a strong focus on and alignment with SBM’s Values. You design, interpret, apply and uphold SBM’s policies and procedures with a high degree of customer focus and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • 1. In order to enhance customer relationship management, you are to maintain strong relationship with customer to: 1.1 understand and address any issues affecting payment terms. 1.2 Work with customer to coordinate queries and resolve disputes that leads to ensuring that outstanding debts are collected in a timely manner and nd communicate effectively process changes to client and other applicable stakeholders. 1.3 Collaborating with client to ensure smooth transition or interpretation regarding changes to business processes 2. In order to Monitoring and Reporting Oversee the entire accounts receivables process, including billing, collections and reconciliations.Prepare reports and provide regular updates on receivables trend, aging, collection performance and outstanding receivables. 3. In order to develop and enhance organization's processeses and ensure they are in line with SBM standards you are to: 3.1 Review and refine accounts receivable processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors. 3.2 Implement strategies to maximize collections and reduce overdue accounts.

Education

  • Professional designation – ACCA or other equivalent professional accounting certification is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in a leadership. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Customer focus building strong customer relationships and delivering customer centric solutions
