Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. In this key role, you ll be undertaking and enabling automated testing activities in all delivery models, We ll look to you to support teams to develop quality solutions and enable continuous integration and assurance of defect free deployment of customer value. You ll be working closely with feature teams and a variety of stakeholders, giving you great exposure to professional development opportunities. The role requires working with contemporary frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements are integral parts of the daily workflow, contributing to the overall success of the projects. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Supporting the design of automation test strategies, aligned to business or programme goals.
- Actioning and evolving more predictive and intelligent testing approaches, based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
- Collaborating to refine the scope of manual and automated testing required, the creation of automated test scripts, user documentation and artefacts.
- Designing and creating a low maintenance suite of stable, re-usable automated tests, which are usable both within the product or domain and across domains and systems in an end-to-end capacity.
- Applying testing and delivery standards by understanding the product development lifecycle along with mandatory, regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Should be innovative thinker who can identify opportunities and design solutions, coupled with the ability to develop complex automation code.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to management level colleagues.
- Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mobile Device/App Automation Testing.
- Experience in designing and executing automated test scripts for mobile applications across various platforms with experience of automated testing, particularly from an Agile development or CI/CD environment.
- Experience in end-to-end and automation testing using the latest tools as recommended by the enterprise tooling framework.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and tools relevant to mobile testing environments.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes to support automated testing cycles.
- good understanding of Agile methodologies with experience of working in an Agile team, with the ability to relate everyday work to the strategic vision of the feature.
- Should have very good understanding on Testing concepts, Agile, Data mining & Scrum ceremonies.
- Excellent hands on experience in mobile automation tools.
- Should have background of designing, developing and implementing automation frameworks in new environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum Minimum 4-6 years of experience in test automation with hands on experience in testing interfaces, Mobile (IOS/Android) & customer facing applications and in Mobile Device/App Automation Testing.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
