Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to gather requirements, developing innovative software solutions, and ensuring that applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing guidance and support to your team members while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and technical excellence.
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Technical Team Lead to manage and drive end-to-end delivery of complex technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, proven experience leading teams, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring delivery of robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
This role requires hands-on problem-solving, team leadership, technical governance, and complete ownership of delivery quality and outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.
Team & Delivery Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of integration developers & analysts
Own delivery planning, task allocation, and progress tracking
Ensure sprint & milestone commitments are met
Support team in technical challenges and decision-making
Drive best practices, code quality, reviews, and documentation discipline

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft ASP.NET.
- Strong understanding of web application development frameworks.
- Experience with database management systems and SQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to implement best practices in software development and design patterns.
Technical Responsibilities
Design, develop, review, and maintain technical solutions aligned with business and architecture standards
Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to the team when required
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, defects, and performance challenges
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable
Implement best practices for coding, reviews, testing, and documentation
Define and enforce standards, guidelines, and quality controls
Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical inputs
Support release planning, deployment preparation, and post-deployment validation
Monitor system health and stability and drive preventive improvements
Create and maintain technical documents, runbooks, and knowledge artifacts
Contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes and ways of working
Stay updated with relevant technology trends and recommend improvements where appropriate

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as primary technical point-of-contact
Analyse business requirements and ensure they are accurately reflected in the technical design
Provide effort estimation and solution walkthroughs
Work closely with QA/UAT teams during regression cycles
Governance & Compliance
Ensure adherence to security, audit, and compliance policies
Maintain deployment checklists, runbooks, technical docs
Support release planning & deployment readiness reviews
Technical Skill Sets
Core Technical Expertise
Strong experience in designing and delivering technology solutions
Hands-on experience with application / system development
Solid understanding of software architecture concepts
Experience with troubleshooting and performance optimization
Knowledge of security best practices and secure solution design
Experience working with production environments and incident handling
Programming & Development
Strong hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core
Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts
Experience building scalable and maintainable applications
Strong understanding of coding standards and best practices
Experience with code reviews and quality governance
Data & Storage
Strong working experience with MS SQL Server
Experience with PostgreSQL
Ability to write optimized queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
Understanding of database design principles and data modelling
Cloud & Infrastructure (as applicable)
Understanding of cloud platforms and modern deployment models
Experience with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
DevOps & CI/CD
Experience with build and deployment pipelines
Familiarity with version control and branching strategies
Testing & Quality
Experience with unit testing and system testing approaches
Knowledge of defect management and root cause analysis
Documentation & Governance
Ability to produce design documents, runbooks, and technical guides
Experience working in environments with compliance or audit requirements
Agile Ways of Working
Experience working in Agile / Scrum / Kanban environments
Sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking
Technical Leadership
Guiding and mentoring team members

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft ASP.NET.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
