Summary:
As a Product Owner, the typical day involves championing the product vision by representing the customer's perspective and ensuring that the product development aligns with their needs. This role requires continuous engagement with the product team to guide the roadmap and backlog, fostering collaboration and clear communication. The day is also dedicated to validating concepts and gathering feedback through iterative cycles, enabling informed decisions that adapt the product direction effectively. This dynamic environment encourages proactive problem-solving and close interaction with stakeholders to deliver meaningful solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product goals and delivery timelines.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders and development teams to clarify requirements and priorities.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on product-related processes.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in P&C Commercial Insurance.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in managing product backlogs and roadmaps within an agile framework.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback to drive product enhancements.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Insurance.
- Good to have AINS 101 and AINS 103 certifications.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
