- Provide L2 support for database environments including SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL - Perform database administration activities such as installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance - Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability - Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning of databases - Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) processes for databases - Work on query optimization and indexing strategies to improve performance - Support and monitor ETL processes and data pipelines - Assist in generating reports, dashboards, and analytics outputs based on business requirements - Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and analytics teams for data integration and issue resolution - Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for database and analytics processesJob role
