Data Engineer

What You Will Do

Work closely with teams across the company to understand their data requirements and develop solutions that allow them to make data-backed decisions
Build, maintain and enhance self-serve data products such as data pipelines and warehouses
Be very particular about platform health - define and track metrics

What You Will Need

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, IT and Mathematics from top-tier colleges
3+ years (5+ years for manager) of professional experience in data engineering
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT principles, Airflow, CDC, API, Kafka, streaming
Data Warehouse experience with GCP/BQ is preferred;
Distributed compute engines like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Apache Beam
Strong hands on experience with coding languages - Advanced SQL, Python
Understanding of OLTP systems preferably: Mongo, MySQL, MSSQL
Strong stakeholder management skills and assertively manage expectations and negotiate
Good to have - experience with e-commerce or product based organization
