Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.
Must have skills : DevOps
Good to have skills : Python (Programming Language), Red Hat OS Administration, Ansible on Microsoft Azure
Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, while ensuring the security and reliability of systems. The position also includes collaborating with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance automation, contributing to the overall efficiency and robustness of the development environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in automation and infrastructure management to improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of new tools and technologies.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Good To Have Skills: Python (Programming Language), Red Hat OS Administration, Ansible on Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems and workflows.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
