Roles & responsibilities

Role Overview: Play the role of a Tech Solution Lead, responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of data-driven audit solutions and ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Architect and oversee ETL pipelines and cloud-based data transformation workflows using tools such as Informatica Cloud and Azure Data Factory for extracting SAP sub-ledger and general ledger data. Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive SAP solutions, including landscape architecture, integration, and production support. Drive innovation and continuous improvement through transformational leadership, while fostering high-performing global teams and promoting a culture of learning and collaboration.

The Associate Director will be responsible for:

Development

·Lead end-to-end data engineering initiatives, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.·Architect and implement data pipelines using SAP HANA, ABAP Cloud Conversion, and SAP Fiori/UI5 technologies.·Drive continuous improvement in SAP development practices through code reviews, performance tuning, and adoption of emerging technologies.·Build and optimize ETL pipelines using Informatica Cloud and Azure Data Factory to extract and transform SAP sub-ledger and general ledger data.·Design and develop scalable, end-to-end data architecture solutions centered around SAP ECC and S/4HANA platforms.·Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into efficient SAP data models and extraction strategies.·Lead SAP front-end development initiatives and manage the migration of legacy ABAP extraction code to SAP ABAP Cloud, ensuring modernization and cloud readiness.·Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends, and refactors moderately complex programs/scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. Reviews own work·Collaborate with global teams to deploy upgraded SAP data extraction modules across member firms, ensuring smooth rollout and support.·Provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and promote best practices in SAP development, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.·Build talent in the team on emerging technologies and train professionals to acquire working knowledge and certifications.·Identify opportunities for improvement, propose enhancements to existing systems, and explore new techniques by leveraging AI/ Gen AI.·Having a certification in SAP ABAP Cloud or any SAP functional module is a plus.

Development Support -

·Adherence to Agile methodologies and ensuring that projects follow Agile principles and practices for successful project delivery, emphasizing flexibility, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.·Debug, optimize and performance tune and resolve issues, if any, with limited guidance and propose possible solutions.·Work with onshore stakeholders (Global Team) on the implementation of new versions or new tools along with recommending any best practices in Data Extraction and Analytics·Take functional responsibility across all stages and iterations of any routine/tool development as required by onshore stakeholders.·Coordinate with various stakeholders for testing of new versions of extraction tools or new solutions.·Ensure that effective project control, change control, risk management and testing processes are maintained·Drive process improvements to boost efficiency and achieve operational excellence.·People management skills and ability to handle stakeholder relationships are mandatory.·Maintaining the accurate and up to date project status for self and any assigned team member.·Prepare and review required documents supporting the project with utmost attention to details.·Ability to lead the development of Data & Analytics solutions by leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud platforms, low-code/no-code tools (RPA, Power Automate etc.,), and generative AI.

Lead projects –

•Lead / participate in firm’s strategic initiatives and/or corporate social responsibility programs•Experience working in leading audit firms with proven project management skills — managing teams on multiple projects in client-facing roles•Drive ideas related to efficiencies, compliance and projects•Sound understanding of various internal frameworks and guidelines; ensuring adherence of self and team

·B. Tech (Computer Science / Information Technology) OR·MBA (Systems/ IT/Finance/ Data & Analytics/ SCM) along with Engineering (Computer Science, IT) OR

MCA (Master’s in Computer Applications
