Director – Delivery Management

Travel Mid-Office & Finance Applications | AWS

Lead end-to-end delivery and operational governance for Travel Mid-Office and Finance applications, managing 50+ professionals across Development (.NET & Java), QA, and Application Support. Ensure predictable delivery, operational stability, cloud modernization (AWS), architectural governance, and business value realization.

What You'll Do

Portfolio & Delivery Ownership

• Own end-to-end delivery across Development and Support, Lead 50+ team members (.NET, Java, QA, Support)
• Establish SDLC, release, and change governance,Drive DevOps-enabled delivery transformation

Business Alignment & Domain Governance

• Align technology solutions with business objectives, Provide executive oversight across transaction-heavy finance systems
• Ensure scalability, compliance, and operational risk management

Engineering, Architecture & AWS Cloud Governance

• Oversee J2EE and .NET enterprise systems, Lead AWS cloud strategy and modernization initiatives
• Oversee microservices, API-first architecture, and CI/CD enablement, Govern AWS services (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC)
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and FinOps practices,Ensure high availability, DR, and security compliance

Operational Excellence & Financial Governance

• Establish KPIs for service availability and release predictability, Oversee cloud cost optimization and budget adherence
• Mitigate operational and financial risks,Ensure audit readiness and compliance

Stakeholder & Executive Management

• Serve as executive escalation point,Present delivery, operational, and cloud transformation dashboards
• Align roadmap with strategic business objectives

Financial & Workforce Management

• Manage multi-million-dollar portfolio budgets,Optimize resource allocation and productivity
• Develop leadership bench and succession plans

What We're Looking For

• 20+ years total IT experience,5+ years in senior leadership roles
• Strong J2EE enterprise architecture background,Oversight experience of .NET enterprise systems
• Proven AWS cloud transformation leadership,Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science
• MBA/PMP/ITIL/AWS certifications preferred,Willing to work 2nd shifts (3:00 PM–12:00 AM IST) and occasional weekends
• Willing to work from Bangalore office minimum 3 days/week, On-time, on-budget portfolio delivery
• Improved SLA compliance and uptime, Successful AWS modernization milestones
• Cloud cost optimization, Reduced MTTR and improved service stability
