Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and leadership expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside skilled, motivated, and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping team performance, driving innovation, and delivering solutions that enhance operational excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Engineering, Human Resources, and Sourcing), mentor and coach team members, and lead the implementation of best practices, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of staffing the team and ensuring alignment with program and project strategies, but also support execution and governance of projects and programs.
We’ll look to you for:
Developing and maintaining domain competencies, coaching the team, and nurturing world-class engineering expertise
Setting clear team goals, delegating tasks, and setting deadlines
Mentoring and fostering competency development in key areas such as PA/PIS/CCTV
Driving cross-cultural knowledge transfer and promoting product expertise
Overseeing supplier management and ensuring alignment with Alstom’s values
Preparing and hosting management reviews and defining group strategies
Implementing and deploying ADM processes, methods, and tools while providing feedback for process improvements
Managing workload and capacity, including subcontracting strategies, and reporting status and issues to leadership
Promoting innovation by collecting and sharing lessons learned and identifying opportunities for improvement
Ensuring QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments in projects, programs, and tenders

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific disciplines
Experience in project/program execution and management
Specific hands-on experience in your domain
Knowledge of governance models, balanced scorecards, and workload planning
Proficiency in English
Understanding of data analysis, performance reporting, and process improvement
Ability to lead diverse and global teams
Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Familiarity with visual management, data automation, and engineering processes
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification (desirable)
