Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Engineer. The ideal candidate should have expertise in product design, CAD software(Autocad,solidworks,CATIA,CREO) , and engineering principles, with a strong understanding of automotive and industrial filtration systems. Knowledge of filtration design will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Design & Development:
Work on conceptualization, prototyping, and testing of filtration systems.
Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
Technical Documentation & Analysis:
Prepare detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and BOMs.
Conduct design feasibility studies and cost optimization analysis.
Collaborate with R&D and production teams to refine and improve designs.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure all designs comply with ISO, ASME, and automotive industry standards.
Conduct design validation tests and make necessary modifications.
Stay updated on the latest filtration technologies and material innovations.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance teams to optimize production feasibility.
Assist in troubleshooting design issues and suggesting engineering improvements.
Prepare reports on design changes, project progress, and cost impact.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 5-7 years in automotive design, preferably with filtration expertise.
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar).
Strong understanding of automotive and industrial filtration technologies (preferred).
Knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes, and design validation.
Ability to work on multiple design projects under tight deadlines.
