Job Description

Executive-GDC

Roles & responsibilities 
Be a part of the team that is responsible for service delivery and ensure the quality and timely delivery of Independence requests.
Apply a fundamental understanding of the applicable independence rules and regulations in executing independence review procedures. 
Conduct comprehensive up-front clearance research using audit engagement team-provided information and publicly available sources. 
Perform detailed affiliate evaluations, including identifying affiliates, non-affiliates, and controlled non-affiliates during the independence review. Correctly construct affiliate trees in KPMG’s proprietary independence compliance system. 
Perform independence technical research as directed by supervisors; display a fundamental understanding of the impact of decisions on Audit, Advisory or Tax engagement teams and clients. 
Maintain responsibility for project management of the affiliate evaluation process including tracking the status, identifying key risks, and managing outstanding items. 
Execute tasks that contribute to team projects and processes with appropriate supervision; manage a queue of multiple tasks that generally have short-term deadlines; escalate issues accordingly to ensure quality and timely resolution. 
Collaborate with the US Independence Clearance Team to define the scope of the independence review.
Provide the ideal client experience (ICX) in the performance of day-to-day clearance activities.
Document the procedures performed in the clearance process and produce reviewer-ready deliverables. 
Identify opportunities for innovation within executed tasks, processes and projects that contribute to the improved efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Provide guidance to more junior professionals within the team.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Foundational knowledge of Audit and Risk Management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal/written communication, problem-solving, project management, organizational, and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by client service and teamwork. 
Ability to build productive working relationships with peers, supervisors, as well as global teams.

Educational qualifications 
Post-Graduation from an accredited college or university (MBA/M. Com)
Work experience
2-4 Years of work experience.
