About the Delivery Team:

 

Data Office delivery team leads a portfolio of transformational initiatives focused on applying AI and agentic capabilities to enhance data curation, reuse, and operational efficiency across EY Member Firms and Service Lines.

 

The team is responsible for the operational delivery of data curation services, beginning with external and third party content, but growing in the future. Services delivered at scale include data discovery, advisory support for the use and context of external data products, and the technical and operational administration of data platforms and provider sourced products.

 

 

Position Summary:

 

The Global Data Office Data team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GDS leader to lead the delivery of a portfolio of Data Curation Transformation initiatives.

 

As the Data Curation Delivery lead, this role will be instrumental to deliver the curation services, working closely with EY’s Data Acquisition and Curation Lead, bringing the ‘best’ of GDS delivery capability in terms of talent and assets, collaborating with Client Technology and SL data teams.

 

You will be a ‘hands on’ curation data leader, passionate and energetic, exceptional data and operational skills combined with communication and stakeholder skills to navigate the complex stakeholder environment.

 

The role will require a combination of exceptional services delivery mgmt. (covering a sub-portfolio of AI Ready business programs), coupled with hands on delivery of ‘Data Products’ and ‘AI Enabled Data Products’ that will underpin all 3rd party or external data consumption within the firm. 

 

 

Essential Responsibilities of the Job:

 

The Data Curation Delivery Lead will deliver change focused on the following key priorities:

 

• End to end adoption and stewardship of external data products across the service delivery lifecycle, in partnership with the Data Stewardship Office, GDS, and Service Line leadership
• Enablement of AI powered external data products in alignment with firm policies and provider terms
• Partnership within the Data Office to deliver AI powered external data services that transform business operations at scale
• Scaling data curation services to meet growing demand (currently averaging 250–300 requests per month)
• Oversight of metadata, content management, and administration across enterprise catalog platforms, including Data Explorer, Enterprise Data Catalog, and Data Marketplace
• Operational and technical management of external data products, including releases, security, user access, and license administration across a growing portfolio.

 

 

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

 

• Selecting, hiring and retaining all delivery resources aligned to the portfolio
• Day to day delivery execution across the portfolio
• Delivery related risk and issues
• Thought leadership on data product and ai-enabled data product capabilities

 

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

 

• Excellent business acumen to translate Service Lines needs into actionable services.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrable skills with Data product and context of data products – fluent in all aspects of AI data curation.
• Proven experience delivering data services at scale.
• Proven experience build/developing high performing teams, with a focus on recruiting & retaining leading edge talent

 

 

Education & Experience:

 

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science, business or operations.
• Master’s in Business Administration is a plus.
• 10 years experience in data and market data management delivery for enterprise scale organizations
• Consulting experience highly preferable
