Job Description:

The opportunity:

Responsible for providing logistics documentation services. Prepares documents for logistics service within established processes and requirements to ensure a successful delivery service. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Create inbound delivery notes in SAP based on shipping documents.
• Maintain SAP handling units, including physical parameters of purchased materials
• Work closely with Transport Planners and provide them with accurate data to ensure timely and efficient transport arrangement.
• Communicate with internal and external suppliers, clarifying discrepancies between shipping documents and purchase orders.
• Build strong relationships with Hitachi Energy’s purchasing and logistics teams, as well as direct-Material suppliers.
• Coordinate the inbound delivery data flow from purchase order through SAP modules until the delivery is booked.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Should have Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have 5+ Years of Experience in logistics or purchasing.
• Hands-on experience with SAP logistics or purchasing modules.
• Knowledge of transport terminology, regulations and incoterms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Continuous Improvement mentality and mindset.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
