Responsibilities: 

Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) solutions 

Perform detailed analysis of complex manufacturing and quality business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements 

Conduct workshops to gather business requirements for production planning, shop floor execution, and quality processes 

Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary system solutions to satisfy manufacturing and compliance needs 

Design, customize, configure, and test SAP PP components including MRP, demand management, BOM, routing, and capacity planning 

Design, customize, configure, and test SAP QM components including inspection planning, quality notifications, and results recording 

Identify system gaps, issues, and propose workarounds or standard SAP solutions 

Act as liaison with business users and technical teams for troubleshooting, analysis, and issue resolution 

Handle configuration changes, transports, and high-priority production incidents 

Document functional designs, configuration documents, test cases, and test results 

Proactively identify and propose manufacturing process improvements and system enhancements 

Provide consulting services for new implementations, rollouts, and support engagements 

Support UAT, go-live, and post–go-live stabilization activities 

Provide ad-hoc training and user support for production and quality teams 

Work independently and act as a subject matter mentor to junior consultants

 

**Mandatory Skill Sets:** 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle SAP PP/QM implementation and support projects 

Strong hands-on experience configuring SAP PP modules including MRP, production orders, and capacity planning 

Hands-on experience configuring SAP QM including inspection types, quality notifications, and master data 

Strong understanding of discrete and/or process manufacturing business processes 

Experience with integration of PP/QM with SAP MM, FI/CO, and PM modules 

Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and priorities simultaneously 

Ability to understand business processes from a user and operational perspective 

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 

**Preferred Skill Sets:** 

Full-cycle SAP implementation experience in manufacturing environments 

Experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing (PP/QM) 

Exposure to MES integration or advanced planning tools (PP/DS) 

Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial domains 

**Years of Experience Required:** 

7–10+ years

BE / BTech / MBA / MCA / CA
