Job Description & Summary
SAP QM (Quality Management) professionals design, implement, and deploy SAP solutions for quality planning, inspection, and control across procurement, production, and sales processes. They ensure compliance with quality standards and integrate QM processes with other SAP modules for end-to-end quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP QM
Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements
Conduct workshops to gather business requirements for quality processes
Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy client needs
Design, customize, configure, and test SAP QM modules (Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Notifications)
Integrate QM with MM, PP, SD, and other relevant modules
Identify gaps, issues, and propose workarounds or solutions
Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems
Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high-priority issues
Document functional designs, test cases, and results
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
Act as a liaison between business functions and technical teams
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
Work independently and self-directed; may act as subject matter mentor to junior team members
Mandatory Skill Sets:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle implementation and support projects in SAP QM
Strong experience in designing and configuring QM modules (Inspection Plans, Quality Certificates, Notifications)
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously
Experience in integration with MM, PP, and SD modules
Understanding of quality standards and compliance processes
Ability to work in a team environment and effectively interact with others
Must be results-oriented and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
Preferred Skill Sets:
Full-cycle SAP QM implementation experience
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA QM functionalities
Experience with batch management and quality certificates
Familiarity with industry-specific quality processes
Years of Experience Required:
7+ years

BE/BTech/MBA/MCA
