As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

Responsibilities:

· Design and build applications for the Android platform.

· Develop high-quality, testable, and efficient code.

· Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements.

· Debugging and troubleshooting issues in the codebase

· Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

· Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

· Experience in App Release.

Mandatory skill sets:

· Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.

· In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android.

· In-depth knowledge of designing for multiple screen sizes using Jetpack Compose.

· In-depth knowledge of Jetpack libraries room, material design component, lifecycle, paging, security, tvprovider, wear, work* etc.

· Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.

· Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

· Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

· Knowledge of the opensource Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.

· Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

· Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

· Experience with Agile development methodologies.

· Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.

· Knowledge of MVVM architecture with Live Data and Kotlin Coroutines.

· Knowledge of multi-modular architecture.

· Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Preferred skill sets:

· Understanding of React-Native and its core principles, components, lifecycle of components, hooks, custom hooks.

· Design and implement reusable, modular components and features.

· Knowlege of state management using Context and Redux.

· Proficiency in JavaScript and typescript.
