Job Title: Software Engineering Intern

Summary of Position:

Intern will work closely with senior developers, architects, and QA teams to support the development and enhancement. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise-scale systems, Agile development practices, and modern web technologies, with a focus on building reliable, high-quality software components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be part of an Agile/SCRUM delivery team, supporting day-to-day development activities.
• Assist senior developers in implementing technical tasks and user stories.
• Support backend development using Java and Spring Boot, python including development of REST APIs.
• Contribute to frontend development using Angular, HTML, CSS, and basic TypeScript.
• Help write and execute unit tests and assist with integration testing.
• Support debugging and defect fixing identified during development and testing phases.
• Assist with integration of eCommerce applications with backend systems and external services.
• Follow team-defined coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Maintain and update technical documentation for assigned tasks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot through coursework or academic projects.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Introductory experience with Python for scripting or automation is a plus.
• Understanding of web development fundamentals (HTTP, REST APIs, JSON).
• Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
• Basic awareness of SDLC, Agile methodology, and engineering best practices.

Good to Have

• Exposure to eCommerce platforms
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts or cloud platforms.
