Lead Business Data Intelligence
Description
The Lead of Data Intelligence will drive the firm’s data strategy, ensuring that data becomes a trusted, scalable, and value‑generating asset across all fund administration functions. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, operations, and client reporting, with a mandate to modernize how the organization captures, manages, and leverages data to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision‑making.
Job specification
- Own the enterprise data intelligence roadmap, aligning data initiatives with business priorities across fund accounting, investor services, regulatory reporting, and risk.
- Lead the design and evolution of the data platform, ensuring high‑quality, well‑governed, and accessible data for operational and analytical use cases.
- Develop and enforce data governance standards, including data quality frameworks, metadata management, lineage, and controls appropriate for regulated financial services.
- Partner with technology and operations teams to streamline data flows, reduce manual processes, and enhance automation across the fund lifecycle.
- Oversee the delivery of dashboards, analytics, and insights, enabling internal teams and clients to make data‑driven decisions.
- Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and AI, ensuring responsible and compliant adoption.
- •Collaborate with clients and external partners to understand data requirements and enhance data‑driven service offerings.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in data management, analytics, or data engineering within financial services—ideally fund administration, asset management, or banking.
- Hands‑on experience with modern data platforms (cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, BI tools).
- Demonstrated ability to implement data governance frameworks in a regulated environment.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading teams and driving cross‑functional initiatives.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and automation is an advantage.
