Job Description Summary

The Lifecycle and VCP Leader is responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management and cost productivity (VCP) programs for the Mobile X-ray business. This role requires strong technical depth, program management capability, and hands-on experience in lifecycle execution, working closely with supply chain, manufacturing, service, and engineering teams. The leader drives initiatives to improve Engineering effectiveness and partners cross-functionally to ensure strong coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and productivity initiatives.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own the modality VCP targets and lead cross-functional teams to deliver committed cost productivity.
  • Drive VCP and Lean initiatives—including DCWs, Supplier Days, workouts, value stream mapping, brainstorming sessions, and Kaizen events—to optimize cost and improve efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance mechanisms for VCP project identification, execution, tracking, and savings validation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to identify cost-out opportunities and market-driven productivity initiatives.
  • Lead and own lifecycle and install base management for the modality, including investigations, CAPA, supplier change requests, manufacturing support, fulfillment issues, design changes, and quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Apply sound judgment to resolve moderately complex operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering challenges; bring new perspectives to existing solutions.
  • Leverage technical expertise and data analysis to support recommendations and decision-making, using multiple internal and limited external sources.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills to meet quality, performance, schedule, and cost CTQs.
  • Own and deliver post-launch performance metrics, including warranty, cost-to-serve, quality, and overall cost performance.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor ’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university or college.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience managing product lifecycle for a modality.
  • Demonstrated strong program management and leading end-to-end lifecycle activities.
  • Strong understanding of QMS, regulatory requirements, and design control processes.
  • Proven experience leading VCP and cost productivity programs.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Hands on experience and proven track record to lead lifecycle and VCP in past
