Manager

Roles & responsibilities

Role Summary:

Key responsibilities include managing an outsourced service provider primarily based in India, ensuring high performance in sourcing support, procurement systems, purchase requisition and order management. The Purchase to Pay (P2P) Operations Manager role requires strong expertise in the P2P process and Coupa's functionalities.

The manager will be the primary escalation point for service delivery issues, monitor compliance, and enhance service through improvements like Contract Delegation of Authority. They will also oversee system operations in Coupa, act as a champion for operational processes, and drive projects for process efficiency and effectiveness.

 

Description:

Maintain oversight of P2P service provider performance reviews and service levels, highlighting and supporting training needsAct as the primary escalation point for issues related to the Service delivery performance by, and maintain control of, third level of Functional Escalation point for any escalations related to delays in user query resolution attributed to process delivered by the service providerManage the P2P customer experience through metrics to measure success of the P2P process such as client satisfaction levels, service quality and delivery, systems and process effectivenessMaintain relationships within the firm to monitor compliance with process and system policy and reduce leakage whilst mitigating risksAct as a champion of operational processes, systems and tools within the team; organise and provide training, support and advice to users, stakeholders and suppliers.

Roles & responsibilities (Continued)

Identify opportunities for improvement in relation to processes, tools, templates, reporting and training. Deliver projects to realise these improvements, to drive efficiency, adoption, compliance, effectiveness, harmonisation and ease of use.Lead and own review of reference materials and procedures such as knowledge articles and desktop proceduresCoordinate closely with the Product Owners and Managers for Coupa to ensure efficient management of all updates. While evaluating all technical changes related to Coupa, delegate the responsibility for implementing these changes to the Product OwnerThis role holds responsibility for the operational management of services on the Coupa system. A deep understanding of Coupa, including its functionalities and operational nuances, is essential to ensure the service runs effectivelyProvide oversight and leadership for implementing service enhancements via the tool. This role involves designing and testing the functionality of improvements, while the Product Owner handles configuration changesLead and manage various ad hoc projects related to the P2P process, adapting to dynamic needs and opportunities for improvementOversee the creation and analysis of reports and analytics, ensuring that data-driven insights support strategic decision-makingOffer support and coverage for other team members as needed, fostering collaboration and maintaining seamless team operations.

Overall, 8 - 10 years of experience in the Purchase to Pay (P2P) and procurement functionKnowledge of procurement processes and procurement outsource provision is essentialKnowledge of the Coupa platform and its capabilitiesIn depth knowledge of the full P2P process as it relates to procurement and spend with third partiesExperience of managing P2P customer experience through metrics.
