Manager - MCU HW Design Development

Roles, Responsibilities, & Key Deliverables 

 

• Hands on experience in 48V systems for Motor drive/Inverter application (Power level- 5KW, 8KW, 10KW, 12KW, 15KW)
• Experience in analysing different topologies of power electronics converters (Inverters for Traction systems, dc-dc converters)
• Experience in hardware system design for analog & digital circuit
• Understanding all electronic components and high power devices (MOSFET[Si, SiC], DC Link capacitor, Gate drivers, Microcontroller)
• Device characterisations of Mosfet with Double pulse test (DPT)
• Manufacturing line readiness for new products (PCBA assembly process, EOL testing procedure, Calibration setup and Supplier interactions) 
• Modelling, simulation analysis experience with tools like MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, PSIM, tools for time & frequency domain, tolerance, derating analysis
• Understanding on Digital Communication protocols like CAN, LIN, RS232, SPI, I2C etc.
• Through understanding, experience and knowledge on testing of EMI / EMC standards (AIS-004, CISPR25, ISO11452, ISO 7637-2, ISO 7637-3, ISO 10605)
• PCB layout, component placement and guidelines experience as per standards (IPC 2221, IPC 6012, IPC-A-610)
• Collaborate with mechanical, layout and firmware engineers to validate the designs
• Utilizes the support of automated testing, verification & validation tools (Oscilloscope, Power analyser, Power supplies)
• Excellent interpersonal, written, oral communication skills, enthusiasm to perform and learn new activities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• Perform Dyno test validations for functional and reliability of Motor control unit.
• Documentation of test activities, procedure, test setup arrangements
• Willingness to travel across test facilities, manufacturing plant and vendor assembly locations
