This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

The Manager, Operational Excellence (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives to boost business performance by eliminating waste, enhancing customer satisfaction, and expanding market share using Lean and continuous improvement methodologies. Specifics include:

• Oversee the cross-functional process improvement program to enhance business performance
• Own and track annual objectives for the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP)
• Identify opportunities for Lean improvement events and participate in major events for cost reductions
• Select candidates for Green Belt and Black Belt training and mentor Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belts through certification projects
• Work across organizational levels to create value and buy-in as the lead change driver
• Ensure adherence to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, and ensuring rigorous quality control
• Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements
• Contribute to the overall compliance of the organization and commit to continuous improvement

Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations​.

Experience of working in a GCC set up and knowledge of GCC functions - Finance - P2P/O2C/R2R, HR, IT, SCM etc.
Must have knowledge of desktop automation, RPA, BI tools and AI agents
