• Should be a BE/ B. Tech/ MCA/ M. Tech

• Experience in Business Development
• Experience in software testing- Automation/Process

 

Preferrable :

• Knowledge or handled one or two projects for performance engineering.

 

Job Description for Automation Test Manager:

 

Role and Responsibilities:

 

• Lead the automation service line for business and competency development
• Manage a group of engineers who are working in the software testing that are local and geographically dispersed
• Managing and coordinating automation teams for design, development, and execution of automated testing of different projects
• Develop, Manage and Document Test Strategy and Test Plans
• Technical leadership with the ability to guide people and make prudent test design and implementation decisions
• Work on market, customer driven activities and assist in implementing efficient testing procedures

 

Required Skills:

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• 10+ years of overall experience, ability to articulate a testing and quality assurance vision, leveraging automation, CI/CD and modern test tools and methodologies
• 5+ years’ experience managing a geo distributed QA automation team with employees, local and offshore contractors
• Experience in business development and managing large clients.
• Experience with building/utilizing industry standard test automation tools, frameworks and processes.
• Must have proficient scripting & programming experience in one or more given languages - Java, Python, C#, Perl, JavaScript
• Candidate should be: a team player, self-motivated, eager to learn, result oriented, able to work independently when needed, have a strong attention to detail and be able to think “outside the box”
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong experience following Agile methodology and Agile mindset including In Sprint testing, delivery pipeline, CI/CD/CT
• A clear understanding of the test pyramid, TDD/BDD etc.
