Manager - Trims CDMM & STA
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- New part development using APQP with strong techno‑commercial understanding.
- Support R&D and suppliers with DFM/DFA analysis and resolve manufacturability concerns.
- Plan processes including process flow, PFMEA, line layout, and quality planning such as DVP, PV, MSA, SPC, PPM, warranty sign‑off, safe launch, inspection agreements, and gauge planning.
- Identify fixtures, tooling, and gauges required to meet design and quality requirements.
- Establish and validate tools, fixtures, and manufacturing processes; conduct supplier audits, trial run audits, and PPAP audits to close gaps.
- Ensure new parts meet quality targets aligned with project milestones.
- Drive PPAP approvals meeting design, quality, and capacity requirements.
- Ensure robust corrective actions for supplier quality issues during builds, validation, and warranty stages.
- Improve supplier quality through best‑practice implementation.
