Main purpose of job:
As the Data Object Lead - ERP Finance, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of managing, analysing, cleansing, and harmonizing Finance master data within the existing ECC systems, legacy systems, and other connected downstream systems. You will transform this harmonized and unified data into the SAP S/4 environment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the optimization of Finance master data together with the Finance attributes of other master data such as Materials, vendors, from existing systems to the new ERP system, seamless migration, and integration.


Key accountabilities:
Technical Master Data Management:
• Design, architect, and implement technical solutions for managing Finance master data in existing ECC and connected downstream systems to SAP S/4.
• Lead technical efforts in data analysing, cleansing, enrichment, harmonizing, and validation to maintain high-quality Finance master data.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Data Migration Execution:
• Collaborate with the Data Migration Lead to develop and execute detailed data migration plans.
• Oversee the technical aspects of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Implement automated data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
• Ensure comprehensive audit trails and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the migration process.
Integration and Technical Collaboration:
• Work closely with technical teams to integrate Finance master data with existing systems, connected downstream systems, and the new SAP S/4 environment.
• Develop and maintain interfaces for seamless data flow between existing ECC, connected downstream systems, and SAP S/4.
• Utilize SAP Data Services, SAP LT (Landscape Transformation) Replication Server, and other tools for efficient data migration and integration.
• Design, develop, implement, and execute Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and protocols (e.g., data repositories, extract histories, error trapping conventions, error resolution processes, and sign-off criteria).
• Check and customize SAP configurations to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Project Management and Technical Leadership:
• Manage technical project timelines, resources, and deliverables related to Finance master data transformation.
• Conduct rigorous technical testing, validation, and quality assurance to meet project milestones.


Experience and qualifications required:
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP project implementation, specifically in master data management and migration.
• Deep technical understanding of SAP data models, business processes, and integration, especially in Finance processes.
• Expertise in data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and validation using SAP tools.
• Experience in leading technical teams and driving major changes in complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong technical acumen, with familiarity with digital technologies and trends.


SKILLS
• At least 4-5 years hands-on experience with SAP modules and data structures on Finance.
• Solid technical and functional knowledge of SAP ECC to check processes in the existing systems.
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP integration design for seamless connectivity with SAP systems
• Experience in both migrating data into SAP ERP and extracting data from SAP ERP.
• Broader S/4HANA functional experience ensuring stronger alignment of data migration design with other functional solution elements.
• Proficiency in SAP Data Services, SAP LT Replication Server, and other data migration tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP tables and data structures related to Finance
• Technical project/program management skills, including defining timelines, managing resources, and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to extract tables, records from SAP ECC using SAP standard transactions & tools.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent technical communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in data management, with a focus on data process, governance, and quality, preferably in the context of SAP S/4 Hana implementations in a multinational FMCG environment.
• Proficient in end-to-end Finance processes
• Experience in managing System Integrator (SI) partners to ensure successful project delivery and collaboration
• Skilled in data mining and process analysis to identify bottlenecks and optimize
• Familiar with Financial & Management Reporting
• A Focus on data quality management, including SAP specific data validation, cleansing, governance, and continuous improvement
