Team : PV Quality & Compliance Monitoring, Global Patient Safety

Location: Bangalore, Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS), India

Help shape how Novo Nordisk measures, monitors and safeguards the performance of its global pharmacovigilance system – and play a direct role in protecting millions of patients.

Your new role
As PV Metrics Governance Senior Professional, you will support the digital tools, processes and governance framework that enable central monitoring, measuring and reporting of global PV system quality and compliance metrics. You will work at the intersection of process, IT and patient safety – driving improvements that strengthen oversight across Global Patient Safety (GPS) and our affiliates worldwide.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:

  • Operationalising internal metrics governance meetings to ensure optimal reporting and escalation of issues relating to PV system quality and compliance
  • Driving improvement initiatives and projects that enhance digital tools and processes, including coherence with the corporate Quality Management Review
  • Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to align PV quality and compliance objectives, benchmark against industry standards, and harmonise processes across HQ and regions
  • Performing and facilitating corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring inspection and audit readiness within your area
  • Designing ways of working that create synergy across GPS and affiliate activities, while fostering a culture of quality, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  • Conducting internal and external training, and actively participating in PV inspections and audits when required

In Research & Development, you'll be part of a unit that explores bold scientific ideas and advances them into clinical testing. We combine curiosity, AI tools, and human data to develop transformative therapies. Through collaboration and operational excellence, we shape and deliver an innovative pipeline to meet future patient needs.
Within R&D, you will join PV Quality & Compliance Monitoring team within Global Patient Safety (GPS) – the team responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality and compliance of our global pharmacovigilance system. We work closely with GPS departments, our Global Business Services centre in Bangalore, NN affiliates, R&D, health authorities and contractual partners across the globe.

Your skills & qualifications

  • We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a complex, global environment and is motivated by continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Life Sciences, combined with a minimum of 4 years' relevant pharmacovigilance experience in operations
  • Deep knowledge of pharmacovigilance principles, international drug safety regulatory requirements, and GxP, along with a firm understanding of PV and quality KPIs
  • Familiarity with databases and systems utilised by Global Patient Safety, and experience supporting regulatory authority inspections
